 We are looking to choose local models who would be suitable to
recommend to photographers and to appear in the model and studio hire section.
For these particular models, the client would probably contact the studio via email, and then we would contact the model
(although no doubt some will do it the other way round!).
Requirements for a resident model
- Be reliable (a no show or unreasonable late-coming will result in removal from the list.
- Be communicative, i.e. read and reply to emails regularly and reply quickly to voicemail and text messages.
- Be available, i.e. be within easy (and reliable) travelling distance from the studio (there will be no payment for
travel)
- Be the type of model that photographers will pay to work with (see Model Advice)
- Be happy to work for a minimum time of 2 hours (preferably 1)
- If we have no pictures of you already (or if you need more) come for a preliminary shoot at the studio. We are a
primarily a photography business, so we cannot realistically use other photographers pictures on the site. We'll do a shoot in
the style YOU think you can attract work.
NOTE:- Proof of age may be required and a model release must be signed.
 If you have never modelled before you will need to send us a
picture or two. If we think you have what it takes we will arrange a test shoot. We may advise you to do a few TFP shoots
to get experience before we would list you as a resident model.
Don't worry if you have a regular job - so do most of the photographers who hire the studio. It is often used at weekends and
evenings.
Age is no barrier as long as you are over 18.
  We
cannot promise a whole lot of (or even any) work for any particular model. As you would expect, the better models get the most
work. But studio hires are becoming popular and we are one of the very few studios for hire in Scotland.
You could help of course, by telling photographers you are a resident model at the studio which will be good for your
credibility and help get you work too.
The studio is based in the centre of Dunfermline.
